The stress that accompanies some professions can lead to the need to self medicate. As a recovering addict and/or alcoholic you may face challenges in the transportation world different than those encountered in every day life. At Unity Recovery Center we like to prepare you for re-entering the work place and the specific challenges you may face. Unity’s staff aims to assist the overworked professional with skills to balance professional demands against personal needs. We offer the following structure for reentering the transportation sensitive industry as a sober professional: We have Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) counselors on staff and a SAP is the only counseling credentialed professional approved to assess, evaluate, treat, and approve the return to duty status for D.O.T. and FAA workers.
